Christy Hatcher is a West Australian writer who studied a Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing) before spending three years living in London. While there she worked on her writing and read millions of books. She has written many short stories and was short listed for the Talus Prize with her piece ‘Too Late’. She has also written travel articles for Scoop Magazine. Currently working on her first novel, she has just been awarded a mentorship with the Australian Society of Authors. She lives in Perth where she juggles motherhood, a new puppy and two feisty chickens.
